Cycling For Water - Brittany App & Garrett Russell cycle Coast to Coast for WaterAid
About Us
Brittany App, California-based photographer, & Garrett Russell, Oregon-based film-maker, will bicycle across the USA in the Fall of 2010 to raise awareness of our Global Water Crisis, and to raise funds to provide fresh water to those who need it most. They will follow the Southern Tier, covering 3,159 miles between San Diego, California and St. Augustine, Florida. They will ride to raise money for WaterAid, with a fundraising goal of $20,000.
Blog
Brittany is a professional photographer, journalist, and blogger extraordinaire, and Garrett will be uploading not-to-be-missed video footage as the two cycle their way from West coast to East, over the course of three glorious months. Keep up with their progress, their triumphs, their struggles, and the joy of living for something bigger than oneself. The bloggity blog will be the place to be for all things fresh and frequently updated. Sha zam!
Donate
How can you help? Donate! And invite all your friends and colleagues to join in and support the most basic of human rights. Your donation, in any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference in the lives of some of the nearly 900 million people who do not have access to clean water, and the 2.5 billion who have nowhere safe and clean to go to the toilet. Our fundraising goal is $20,000. Please consider a donation to WaterAid today!
